100% of the profits from this album go directly to the White Rose Foundation. Originally founded by students in Munich Germany, the group mounted a non-violent resistance against the Nazi party. They were ultimately caught and executed. Today the Foundation not only commemorates the brave sacrifices of its original members, but promotes civic courage, individual responsibility, and robust education about the dangers of fascism and bigotry in present times. Pre-order from Bandcamp to maximize your support.
This compilation of cover songs from the Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) genre reimagines tracks originally made famous by bands such as D.A.F., Malaria!, Falco, Ideal, Grauzone, Xmal Deutschland, and others. All recordings are brand new and exclusive to this album. Liner notes by Alexei Uminsky, Anselm Grün, Dr. Maren Gottschalk, Dr. Pop, and Maximilian Probst. Cover art by Ruprecht von Kaufmann.
